Wanderer's Well
(Especially After Loss, Trauma, or Awakenings)
If you’ve felt like you’ve been floating outside your body since the loss...If your dreams have turned vivid, your sleep schedule warped, or you keep “spacing out”...If you feel like the veil got thinner and you're being watched (in a good way)...
You’re not crazy. You’re in between.
Grief doesn’t just hurt. It recalibrates your frequency and that shift can pull you toward higher realms, whether you’re ready or not. Spirit calls this the “grief gate.” It opens slowly. But once open, your perception of life, death, energy, and even purpose begins to change.
Why Grief Activates the Astral Connection
In energetic terms, grief is a rupture; it pulls us from what was and drops us into the unknown. The emotional intensity of loss often mirrors the spiritual intensity of awakening. That moment where you can’t hold on to what was… is the same moment your soul starts listening for what still is.
In that raw, cracked-open state, your vibration lowers in a way that paradoxically connects you with higher dimensions. Why? Because you become more sensitive. More receptive. And less shielded by the illusion of permanence.
Grief alters your brain chemistry and emotional regulation, yes. But it also creates a psychic openness that lets spirit in through the cracks.
Signs You’re Astral Traveling While Grieving
• You wake up exhausted, like you’ve been “doing something” in your sleep
• You dream of those who’ve passed, but it doesn’t feel like a dream
• You space out randomly, and your surroundings blur or distort
• You feel sudden chills, presences, or like someone is “visiting”
• You receive images, songs, or phrases that repeat without context
You are not making it up. You are being led.
The Astral Realms: Not Just a Dreamworld
The astral is a subtle plane of consciousness where energy moves before it manifests. It’s where spirits, symbols, soul memories, and future visions exist in fluid form. During grief, your soul begins to reach into these realms sometimes seeking comfort, sometimes being summoned to receive clarity it seems.
Your lost loved one may be guiding you there. Your spirit team may be strengthening your clairs. Your soul may be recovering pieces of self lost in trauma.
Either way, you’re crossing thresholds.
What Grief Really Opens: A Spiritual Initiation
Most people think grief is the end of something. And it is. But it’s also the beginning of your re-alignment with something eternal.
Your psychic gifts may intensify. Your fear of death may dissolve. Your craving for truth, depth, and authenticity may spike.
You’ve left the surface. You’re in the undercurrent now.
Grounding While Grieving: Anchor Before You Fly, So Important
While these experiences are sacred, they can also be destabilizing. That’s why I include grounding practices, rituals, and tools in everything I offer candles, salts, worksheets. Because astral travel without roots can lead to confusion. And grief without anchors can spiral into numbness. I was there 3 years agp, I speak from my own experience.
Ways to Ground While Astrally Active:
• Salt baths with herbs like mugwort, lavender, rosemary
• Root chakra work: think walking barefoot, red crystals, journaling fears
• Talking out loud to your guides or your passed loved one
• Candles or physical items that “tether” you back to now
• Naming your experience without judging it
You Were Chosen to Feel This
If you’re reading this, your grief is not random. It may be ancestral. It may be a catalyst. But either way, it is not empty.
You are not lost. You are in between.
And this space, though painful, is where the most powerful parts of you come alive.
Welcome to the in-between. You don’t need to climb out just yet. You just need a lantern.
